On July the 3rd, ERAI organized a France-Swiss brainstorming day. The objective was to allow French and Swiss clusters to meet and to discuss about the IV Interreg France-Swiss. This call for proposal from the European Union offers a support to companies and emphasis the partnerships between companies and research organizations. Attended to this meeting: Didier Mesnier (ALPICT), Eric Plan (CLEANTECHALPS), Jean-Pierre Dan (Centre Suisse d’Electronique et de Microtechnique), Thierry Alvergnat (EDIT), Philippe Le Thuaut (AXELERA), Fabien Boulanger (MINALOGIC), Cécile Coustal (PLASTIPOLIS), Claudine Colin (TRIMATEC) and Albin Jourd (FRENCHCLEANTECH).

The day allowed the participants to better know each other. It was also the opportunity to promote synergies in order to lead common action programs, like the Interreg. All actors committed themselves in order to make this project effective.

Cross-border collaborations were reinforced and both regions promoted, as precised by the general consulate during the closing speech. A new French-Swiss meeting is already planned the 12th of October in Evian during the Economic Rhodanien Forum.
