"The signing of the strategic partnership Charter in Rhone-Alps (supporting companies to export) by the French state, the Rhone-Alps region, the CCIR Rhone-Alps, as well as ERAI and UBIFRANCE, has simplified and made more readable the supports to get international offered by the various actors. In fact, international development is key in Rhone Alps: in 2011 more than 9,000 companies exported regularly and 28,000 conducted at least one export operation. Rhone-Alps remains the second French exporting region and its trade balance stays positive.

The Rhone-Alps export team is now strong, united, skillful and inventive. It shows, if proof was needed, that together we are stronger and we can drive our economy to the top. At the heart of this team, the CCIR Rhone-Alps and the 11 CCIT play a vital role in both being the gateway of businesses, and the gateway of support systems to export.

CCI International Rhone-Alps now covers all the skills - geographic, thematic, sector - identified by the CCIR among the 80 employees of the 11 CCIT. Their skills are now at all Rhone-Alps companies’ disposal.

Within this team, there is a natural link with ERAI, the weapon of the Rhone-Alps region. This is why the CCIR decided to strengthen its partnership with the 27 ERAI’s abroad locations, in highlighting the offer Implantis, which allows Rhone-Alps companies to get a foreign address as well as their own local sales force and, in the end, to get established in the country in a sustainable way.
