Participation in TAIEX program

ERAI has participated in July 2010 to a TAIEX program in Lebanon on the theme "Internationalisation of companies Lebanese - Promotion of export and investment climate. TAIEX (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument) is an instrument of the Directorate-General of the Enlargement of the European Commission. TAIEX helps beneficiary countries in terms of approximation, application and enforcement of the law of the European Union.
The program has funded the travel and the provision of ERAI's experts for two days in Lebanon to provide technical assistance in the short term and provide the expertise to ERAI and the Rhône-Alpes region.
Through the presentation of experiences, the objective of this workshop was to help the Lebanese institutions to devise new measures to promote international development of Lebanese SMEs.

The workshop also enabled the IRI (Industrial Research Institute) to improve:
- Knowledge of measures to promote exports and international investment
- Expertise in assisting SMEs in specific areas increasing the potential for internationalization: support for R & D, innovation, technology transfer.
