Technical Workshop on calls for proposals EuropeAid

On July 2, associations, organizations and clusters of the Rhône-Alpes met in the local of ERAI for setting up EuropeAid project. EuropeAid is the General Direction of the European Commission responsible for the setting-up of projects and foreign aid programs in the world: the countries neighboring the EU, Russia, parts of Africa, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP), America and Asia.

The Commission is the most important donor in the world with 9.33 billion euros pledged in 2008. These projects and programs generate numerous grants.

The ERAI Department of International Finance was pleased to welcome Mr. Filipe Santos of Arkipelago Consulting firm specializing in European media and support for companies wishing to set up projects in the single framework of assistance to developing countries granted by the European Union.

This training day was an opportunity for all participants to learn or improve their knowledge on foreign aid projects of the European Union and the installation folder: writing the concept note, the full proposal, budget development, the logical framework ...

The presentations were interspersed with exercises and case studies for making the training more practical and more interactive as possible. Participants came away delighted to have this experience with new ideas in mind ...
