Laotian delegation in Rhone-Alpes
Laotian organizers of the 9th Europe-Asia Summit (ASEM 9) and of the 13th Europe-Asia Economic Forum (AEBF 13) have been welcome in Rhône-Alpes in order to present the objectives and the challenges of those two events, and to meet with the economic players from Rhône-Alpes.
This delegation, led by His Excellency M. Khouanta PHALIVONG (Ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic), benefited from a visit program and a meeting with Pierre-Jean Baillot (ERAI Deputy CEO), who presented ERAI’s activities.
The meetings aimed to encourage the French business leaders to participate in the Economic Forum and then to ensure and consolidate an economic foothold in Laos as well as in others Asian countries.
