Eurostars is a European program which aims to support SMEs. The program is co-financed by the European Commission and the 33 partner countries (in France, the project is funded by OSEO). It aims to promote the participation of SMEs with large investments in R & D projects. The bottom-up approach gives participants the freedom to lead projects in all fields of technology and all markets.

Eurostars is an extension of the Euraka network, a network created in 1985 including all of Western Europe and Turkey to promote and fund R & D activities.
